About us

We Handmake our cordials using old family recipes and some new ones that we have modified ourselves.
making blueberry cordialWe produce a  range of cordials in many different flavours, that are forever growing through the season.

We change our cordial flavours to match the season and fruit availability, so please keep an eye open for any Changes.

Started in August 2007 by Jayne and with help from husband David in the Yarty Valley, which runs from the Blackdown Hills to Axminster in Devon.

Jayne suffers from MS and has found that using natural ingredients in her own cooked food has helped her to control the MS. Jayne has been making cordials for many years for family and friends, using Old Family Recipes, from Jaynes Grandmother Mabel, a cook to Royalty in the 1920's, it was at this point it that we realized there was a market for Good Slow Food

We started by making Scotch and Vegetarian Eggs, we had to be registered as a food producer with South Somerset Council. On his visit Chris our inspector was offered some of our Cordial, and it was at this point that he said we should forget about the Eggs and make Drinks.

We purchased a couple of dozen bottles and tried different flavours of cordials, by using our friends and David's work collegues in the Construction Industry, the feedback was very good.

It was at this point we discovered pasturisation, as our bottles were exploding at night!.

Armed with 3 flavours of cordials we visited Millers Farmshop in Axminster, a few tastings later,a new bottle shape,  the first orders for a dozen were placed, a few weeks later it was repeat orders of 2 Dozen.

We our now selling our presse and cordials in outlets such as farm shops, delis, pubs and tourist attractions, throughout the UK.

The fruit we use is sourced as locally as possible.

We only use the finest  Fruit and not Concentrates, and its all hand made, hand bottled and hand lablled its a True Artisan Drink, the only tools used is our 12 year old Magimix, and a funnel, but do not forget it is also used by Top Chef's in Cooking.
Please have a look at our Recipes page.

Please enjoy!

Cordially Yours
Jayne and David
