Yarty Valley was started  by Jayne and with help from husband David in the Yarty Valley, a stunning valley which runs from the Blackdown Hills to Axminster in Devon.

Jayne suffers from MS and has found that using natural ingredients in her own cooked food has helped her to control the MS. This is why you will never find any EXTRA ingrediants in our Cordials.

Jayne has been making cordials for many years for family and friends, using Old Family Recipes, from Jaynes Grandmother Mabel trained in Mrs A.B.Marshalls cookery school Mortimer Street London in 1914, Mabel became a freelance cook to Nobility and Royalty i
n the 1920's in the New Forest for special occaisions.

We started by making Scotch and Vegetarian Eggs, and we had to be registered as a food producer with South Somerset Council. On his visit Chris our inspector was offered some of our Cordial, and it was at this point that he said we should forget about the Eggs and make Drinks.

We purchased a couple of dozen bottles and tried different flavours of cordials, by using our friends and David's work collegues in the Construction Industry, the feedback was very good.

It was at this point we discovered pasturisation, as our bottles were exploding at night!.

Armed with 3 flavours of cordials we visited Millers Farmshop in Kilmington, Axminster, a few tastings later,a new bottle shape,  the first orders for a dozen were placed, a few weeks later it was repeat orders of 2 Dozen.

We our now selling our cordials in outlets such as farm shops, delis, and tourist attractions, throughout the UK. We also supply the corporate market.

The fruit we use is sourced as locally as possible.

We only use the finest  Fruit and not Concentrates, and its all hand made, hand bottled and hand lablled its a True Artisan Drink, the only tools used is our 14 year old Magimix, and a funnel, but do not forget it is also used by Top Chef's in Cooking, so give it a go.
Please have a look at our Recipes page.

Please Enjoy!

Cordially Yours

Jayne and David
